ADOPT A HIGHRISE PROJECT

The member congregations of Northwest Portland Ministries "adopt" apartment buildings that have many elders, persons with disabilities, and people with limited incomes.

Volunteers plan, finance, and staff a variety of activities for residents, including

• Barbecues
• Holiday parties
• Bingo games
• Arts and crafts
• Outings
